Actress Sebrina Siegel has always held fast
to her dream of impacting audiences through
her passion for acting. Born in Louisville,
Ky, Siegel caught the acting "bug"
at a young age, spending her school years
performing in school plays, oratory competitions
and community theaters, and graduating from
the University of Louisville with a BFA in
Theater.
Siegel made the switch from stage to screen
in 2009 with her debut film, The Audit, in which she played
the starring role of Courtney. Her
performance in The Audit earned Siegel her
first Best Actress award from the 2009 World
Independent Film Expo, where the film also
took home the award for Best Feature. Since
her film debut, Siegel has quickly made a
name for herself in the independent film
scene, becoming an "in-demand"
actress through a variety of starring roles
in both feature and short independent films.
In 2010, Siegel grabbed Hollywood's attention
when she was cast as the leading lady in
2 time Edgar nominee and television writer/producer
Lee Goldberg's short film, Remaindered,
which garnered her a "Best Actress"
nomination from the Derby City Film Festival
and, as the film made the festival circuit,
much industry attention.
In 2011, Siegel picked up her 2nd Best Actress
win (Fright Night Film Festival - Premier)
for her starring role in the hit film, Overtime,
in which she was cast opposite WWE wrestler
Al Snow. Overtime, A Thoughtfly Films/Almost
Sober Production, also took home 7 more of
the festival's awards including the coveted
"Best of the Fest" audience choice
award. Siegel's latest win serves
to validate the unique talent she possesses
and cements her name as rising star in the
film industry.
